We had an outstanding experience at Virginia Advanced Surgical Arts for wisdom teeth removal. The scheduling was easy and the process for checking in the day of the surgery was very smooth. Everything was clearly explained and we left the surgery feeling knowledgeable and clear in the post-surgery instructions. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. We knew we could always call with any questions. We highly recommend!

Dr. Gocke is incredible!!! I wish I could rate this review higher than 5 stars because he is truly the best! This is my second implant I have gotten from him and my first tooth extraction and let me tell you I have never had a tooth extracted that easily before! I was amazed! He is worth his weight in gold! The whole team was great, I’m so grateful to them all!!!

Thank you to Dr. Vigilante and his team for their expertise, professionalism and most of all, kindness. Dr. Vigilante made important medical decisions on behalf of my daughter during a serious health crisis, while keeping me (a worried Mom in California) updated and informed regarding my daughter's care and surgery. We need doctors like Dr. Vigilante in California!!! The State of Virginia is blessed to have doctors like Dr. Vigilante, especially in times of urgency. Thank you so much.

This could not have been a better experience. I've never needed surgery like this before, so I didn't know what to expect -- but this went so well I was genuinely impressed. The calm professionalism and the warm and caring attitude of Dr. Gocke and his entire staff immediately put me at ease. I feel lucky to have benefitted from so much comprehensive knowledge, expertise, and talent, because they did a stellar job. Their follow-up was kind and unexpected, even though everything went so smoothly I needed very little in the way of recovery time, and because they handled everything in my procedure so efficiently and promptly, I had almost no pain to speak of after the surgery.

He's not a brain surgeon, but if I needed brain surgery, I would want Dr. Gocke to take it on. Seriously.

Oh, and the pricing is EXCELLENT -- which wasn't something I expected, but made getting oral surgery a lot more positive, honestly. Just a shockingly brilliant experience all around.

TEN STARS!!!! Seriously - this is, by far, the most professional, capable, compassionate doctor and staff we have ever encountered. They are extremely patient, clearly intelligent - and really take their time with you. Our first experience was ONE WEEK before our oldest went away to college and had to have his wisdom teeth pulled in sort of an emergent situation. They were FANTASTIC. They got him in - the after care instructions were clear, and the tools (ice/medicine/wrap etc) - were high quality and extremely to use. They are so nice, I kept them! Our sons recovery was so easy (and they were impacted, too!) - that he was able to move to college one week later!

Our second experience with Dr. Gocke and his incredible staff was our second son - who needed his wisdom teeth removed in a non-emergent situation. It went just as smoothly. Also, Dr. Gocke uses some long lasting local anesthetic that helps patients not need as much pain management after procedures, which is super.

Our THIRD experience with Dr. Gocke was with me! =) . I had a previous root canal (another office) on a molar, that ended up going south. I consulted Dr. Gocke about this - and went through an implant procedure with him - which included bone grafting, sadly b/c my jaw bone is atrophying (good times). In any event - it went VERY well - and Im a dentaphobe too - so my enthusiasm for this practice and my trust and endorsement of them should be considered EXTRA special.
Seriously - I have referred Dr. Gocke and his entire staff many, many times - and everyone who has used them feels the same way I do. They are simply fantastic. Oh! And *BONUS* - Dr. Gocke does Botox, too! LOL - well, maybe its not for everyone - but he does a GREAT JOB with it - and bonus points for if you are already under for a procedure and don't have to be awake for it!

Staff I can name by name!!! Michella (his Chief of Staff- classy. Elegant. Professional and in-point! Doesn’t miss a beat! Mari and Ingrid - super professional. Compassionate. Out patients at ease. They are extremely likable and keep things running very smoothly. And of course Dr, Go me himself! He has such a calm demeanor. He is solid. Confident but not in an obnoxious way - just in a way you would want and need your surgeon to be. The office is impeccable from the door to the exit and all facilities top notch. It is, hands down, my favorite doctors office to visit (and refer!). I hope you agree!

Had a very good experience from the moment I entered the office. Everyone was very professional and calmed my fear of dentists. My extraction was over before I knew it and they were good with follow up. I would recommend this surgeon to all.

I’ve had a great experience since the start of the process for my double jaw surgery. From the first consultation to post-op appointments, communication has been great and the service top notch. Thankfully, I haven’t experienced much pain and I haven’t had complications during the recovery. I’m excited for my life now with my new bite and enhanced profile. Double jaw surgery doesn’t just change your face for functionality, the aesthetics are also a plus. I can’t recommend Dr. Gocke enough. I would do it all over again.

I had an appointment today June 5,2026 with Dr. Patrick Lee to get an evaluation of my molars #19 and #14. I had to see my family dentist Dr. Nassir Barekzi due to a toothache of tooth #19. Even before my appointment with Dr.Barekzi last December 31, 2025 I almost cancel my appointment with him because I no longer have the tooth ache but I went to him still and did bitewing X-rays on tooth #19 and #14. He did do some tapping on both tooth but I had no pain. He saw the X-rays and could not find anything wrong but he saw a shadow on #14 so he referred me to Dr.Bryan Lee of The Virginia Endodontic Group. I got an appointment with Dr. Bryan Lee January 7, 2026. I cancelled that appointment because I was not feeling any pain. Two months passed by not until the end of March that I saw a small bump on my gum close to tooth #19. I called for an appointment to Dr. Bryan Lee of The Virginia Endodontic Group. I had to have that bump checked out right away because looks like it has pus. Dr.Bryam Lee is not available so I got an appointment with Dr.Jayden Kwak instead. He did checked me out and did a CT scan called ABCT Scan which cost almost $400.00 that I have to pay out of pocket because my insurance don't cover that scan. Well anyway Dr. Jayden Kwak recommended that both should be extracted. No way of saving them not even a Root Canal. He referred me to Dr. Patrick Lee of Virginia Advamce Surgical Arts. That was March 31,2026 but I never made an appointment because I had no tooth ache. Middle of May 2026 I have my dental cleaning and exam with our family dentist Dr.Nassir Barekzi. I discussed with him my situation because I was skeptical to have the extraction. He said that Dr. Jayden Kwak was right and I really need the extraction. Today Dr.Patrick Lee had the same ABCT Scan done again free of charge because the copy of my ABCTScan at Dr.Jsyden Kwak will not work on their system. That alone not charging me the $400.00 test impressed me. I got more impressed when Dr.Patrick Lee explained to me in detail why I should have the extraction done because the infection is eating away my bones. He was very nice and gentle when he did the procedure. His assistants Diana and Zora were nice too. Diana was amazing because she was so patient with me when I was not pleasant to her in our first meeting. I'm an almost 81 year old groutzy old man and most of the time impatient. But Diana was calm and never raised her voice when she tried to explain to me the situation. The front desk were also very nice like Gretchen and Emery. I forgot the names of the other answering the phone when you call the office and they were all pleasant and nice. Bottom line is I recommend this place to anyone who needs their services especially Dr. Patrick Lee. He's an amazing Dr.with good bedside manners.

Dr. Vigilante is both warm and professional and has assembled an outstanding staff - from Tamika at reception to the nursing staff - always greeting with a smile and medical knowledge and skill to put both parent and child at ease to walk thru the entire procedure in a timely manner - from prep to follow-up! Highly recommend - will be back as needed 😃

My father saw Dr Vigilante for removal of some broken teeth and placement of implants for permanent dentures. My father is 90 and had numerous missing and broken teeth. We had originally scheduled with another physician until my father had some medical issues that arose delaying the procedure. We found Dr V and were so happy that we did. His staff worked with us through those issues. They cared for my father in a respectful and compassionate way. We felt most comfortable with the explanation of the procedure and the realistic expectations for his recovery. Highly recommend this practice and his entire staff is top notch!

I'm a foreigner who received treatment here. The staff provided excellent guidance and consultation. I underwent a wisdom tooth extraction, and the dentist and his team performed their work with true professionalism. I highly recommend the long-acting anesthetic; it was incredibly helpful. For the first 24 hours, it significantly minimized my pain and allowed me to sleep at night.

Phenomenal experience with oral surgery here under anesthesia. As a former OR nurse who also certified over 30 offices that provide anesthesia in NYC, I can tell you this office passes every standard from start to finish. Safety is paramount with this group. I'm beyond impressed!!
